Bournemouth vs Swansea Predictions

There is little separating these sides and it should be another tight affair on Tuesday. Swansea are tipped to edge it and claim all three points.

  • Bournemouth have lost 2 of their last 3 home matches (Championship).

  • Bournemouth have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 6 matches (Championship).

  • Swansea have won 3 of their last 4 matches (Championship).

  • Swansea have seen BTTS in 4 of their last 5 matches (Championship).

Head-to-Head Bournemouth and Swansea have an identical record against each other in this fixture. In 59 games both have won 23 and drawn 13 times. Bournemouth are unbeaten in the last eight meetings between the sides in all competitions. The last meeting was a 0-0 draw in December. Bournemouth Form Bournemouth are on a run of uncertain form and come into this game after two games without a win. Their 1-1 draw away to Preston, with Arnaut Groeneveld scoring their only goal, was followed up by defeat at the weekend. The Cherries lost 3-2 at home to Barnsley despite goals from Groeneveld and Dominic Solanke. Concern will surround Bournemouth keeping one clean sheet in six matches and losing three of the games in that run. They will need to ensure a consistent run in to get themselves in the play-offs by the end of the season. Bournemouth Injuries and Team News The long-term injury loss of Lewis Cook sees him sit alongside David Brooks on the injury table. They will hope the goalscoring form of Arnaut Groeneveld with three in his last four matches can continue. Swansea Form Swansea are in strong from and come into the game with firm aspirations of reaching the automatic play-off spots. The Swans have lost one of the last six matches, including a frustrating point away to Blackburn after Andre Ayew levelled the game from the spot last week. However, they bounced back at the weekend as Conor Hourihane's early goal was enough to clinch a 1-0 victory at home to Luton. Their much-changed team was strong enough to dispatch of a tough Luton side and keep their momentum into the final stages of the season. Swansea Injuries and Team News Ryan Bennett, Joel Latibeaudiere, Ryan Manning, Korey Smith and Yhan Dhanda all came into the starting line-up for the last match as Swansea shook up the squad through injury and rotation purposes.

Verdict

Swansea’s momentum should be enough to see them win with BTTS the best bet.
